  • Alpha Metals 3 oz. .125" Diameter Spool Plumbing Solder is lead-free and made of 95% tin and 5% antimony. It is a solid wire that is carded. This solder is IAPMO listed and is for potable water applications, refrigeration lines and cooling equipment. It has a melting point of 450 to 464 degrees F and a specific gravity of 9 to 11.
    Leaded solders are suitable for a number of General Purpose applications. These products are safe to use with any of their Fluxes. Please note that General Purpose solder Can't be used for Plumbing applications.
